Fall Block:
SUSTAINABILITY PROGRAM


The SUSTAINABILITY PROGRAM strives to develop a comprehensive global perspective based on inclusiveness and reverence for life that leads to creative and responsible lifestyles and stewardship of natural resources. It also supports people to develop their capacities for effective and healing action in the world.

Based on continuous training in mindfulness, courses within the program focus on the topics below:

NOURISHING ONESELF AND OTHERS - a training in personal skills requisite for success in all kinds of service work, including communication skills, prevention of burnout, and maintaining health, happiness and relationships with family and friends.

SIMPLICITY AND SLOWING DOWN - an experiential examination of the benefits, both personal and global, of simple living and slowing down.

ECOLOGICAL ACTION - aiming to inspire an enduring dedication to caring for our Earth, to learn systems thinking and study the effects of society's impact on the environment and to explore practical solutions to current environmental situations.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE - developing a foundation of understanding, determination and skills that enable peaceful and effective action in response to suffering in the world.
